About Kate

​Kate Daley hails from rainy Portland, Oregon - where using an umbrella is looked down upon - and made the move to NYC at eighteen to learn what it feels like to not always be soggy (and to receive her BFA in Film, Television, Voiceover, and Commercial from Pace University).

 

Being incredibly tall, she grew up playing basketball, which taught her assertiveness, while having a younger sister taught her how to be gentle...most of the time. She has performed on regional stages in Oregon and New York and in short films anywhere that the Flix Bus will take her. She has taught theatre to children at Treasure Trunk Theatre in Brooklyn and at Oregon Children’s Theatre, where four year olds frequently remind her what it means to be unabashedly yourself.

 

When she’s not pestering her roommate to be her self-tape reader, you may find Kate practicing yoga, cheering for the Trail Blazers, or writing her solo show (which is about herself...yikes).
